When I engage with clients, I come with active listening and empathy to assist with becoming comfortable to participate in therapy. I specialize in working with people experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, grief, loss, life transitions and planning, disability, and stress. When in treatment, I approach people by learning and understanding their difficulties, work on building skills, and collaboratively develop a plan of action towards being their own healer.
I have a person-centered approach with the goal of being collaborative because you know you best. My role is to hold a position of support, adding language to further describe your lived experiences, teach emotional literacy, develop solutions to problems, and overall teach tools to enhance your confidence and abilities to manage emotional struggles.
As a clinician, I am dedicated to empowering clients through introducing and enhancing skills to gain self-awareness, adaptive coping, and decision-making for their own life journeys and their overall wellness.
