I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT), and Co-Director of Eagle's Wings Counseling Center. After years of working with wounded spouses, my co-director (Lauren Mauck, MA, LMFT, CSAT) and I named and described the unique set of symptoms and experiences betrayed spouses go through. We developed and co-authored a copyrighted assessment tool and publication describing these symptoms, known as Relational Trauma Response.
We take a unique approach to treating this issue focusing on the trauma aspect for the betrayed spouse and rebuilding trust and safety before any "traditional" marriage counseling occurs. We offer individual, marital, and groups for both the wounded spouse and the offending spouse and address any underlying addiction present. Call or email today!
