About
As a substance abuse counselor, who specializes in treatment services for adolescents and adults, it is my goal to address the individual's addiction, identify their needs, and goals for long-term success. As a clinician, it is important to understand the full spectrum of the individual's substance use, the impact their use has had on their family members, and identify goals to ensure their long-term success. It is important to address one issue at a time and help the individual understand the road to recovery is long and challenging but with diligence, will be met with success and freedom from addiction.
It is my goal to address the individual's issues and what led them to their addiction. It is also my goal to support the family and ensure they have the appropriate resources for long-term success. My client-centered approach will identify the client's goals for success and a path to their success in recovery and relapse prevention.
As an individual, I have seen what the grip of addiction can do to a family. As a professional, I want to work with you to prevent you from enduring any other issues and to relinquish the grasp this disease has on you.
