Making the decision to seek counseling can sometimes feel like an overwhelming process. It can be difficult to ask for help and know where to begin. It is my goal to help make this process a less frightening one and help you improve your life and personal well-being. Being able to help people experience hope and healing in their lives is a personal passion of mine. While I have worked with a variety of populations, addressing various concerns, I am especially interested in working with individuals on relationship issues, self-harming behaviors, self-esteem, and emotional intensity.
I have been providing mental health counseling since 2001, and have been fortunate to work in various agency settings. I have extensive experience working with teens/ young adults, LGBT populations, and abuse survivors. I pride myself on being able to connect well with individuals who typically "do not like therapy.
