About
A Note For Grownups: If you're reading this, chances are you have a loved one that identifies as gay, lesbian or gender diverse and you're likely looking for a therapist for them or for yourself. I know firsthand as a parent of a gender diverse child the fear, worry and confusion that you may be feeling. Before you react to your loved one negatively and before you give in to that fear, reach out to me. Let's talk about the scary stuff BEFORE you go to your loved one with it. Let's talk about the important stuff like how you'll be able to affirm and even celebrate them once the scary stuff is less scary.
If you're a person that identifies as gender diverse and looking for a tattooed, direct and "real" therapist, I might be the one for you. If you're a parent of a gender diverse child and need some support and guidance, I'd love to help!
I strive to create an affirming space in my therapy office. I'm not willing to settle just for affirming my clients in their gender & sexual identities, but also work to ensure my clients are celebrated for simply existing. Discriminatory treatment toward ANY marginalized group of persons has no place in my office or spaces I'm responsible for.
