As a counselor I am committed to creating a healthy, working relationship with my clients that promotes growth and identity development within an individual as well as the family. I have had extensive training in working with individuals and families who have exceptionalities outside the normative view of the human condition. This can range anywhere from gifted individuals to people with physical disabilities. I provide a very proactive, creative, and exploratory approach for my clients to seek out who they truly are and how I can help them to live a life that is a good fit for them.
I have very specialized training in working with the gifted and talented population, especially as it pertains to children and adolescents. I have personal experience with physical disability and I have spent many years conducting workshops and facilitating group discussions pertaining to the challenges of creating identities beyond their disability.
I provide individual counseling, as well as parent coaching, couples counseling, and group therapy. I am the Clinical Director for the Center which means that I am the first point of contact when you reach out.
