I have 20+ years as a licensed professional counselor and 15 years post graduation in clinical psychology. My virtual practice focuses on women and men who are seeking to reduce depression and anxiety while enhancing positive mood. These sessions are priced by your insurance company. I have in person sessions working with individuals and families of all ages. Clients are taught coping strategies to manage difficult feelings. My approach is to conduct evaluations, design treatment plans, and facilitate individual therapy.
My educational background includes an undergraduate degree in psychology from Texas A&M University, a master's degree in professional counseling from Texas State University and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Alliant International University.
My doctoral dissertation was "Childhood Near-Death Experiences and Psychotherapy." In 2009, this research study won an award for meeting the California Mental Health Services Act requirements for research about spirituality.
