My background in public schools and private practice has allowed me to support clients across many stages of life and experiences. I use a variety of evidence-based approaches and tailor therapy to your individual needs. My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative space where you feel heard and empowered to make changes at your own pace.
In addition, I have a passion for those with chronic pain. Chronic pain can be debilitating. It can keep you from reaching your goals, enjoying the things you love, and from the things that you need. Through Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), there can be a way to get your life back.
First sessions can be both exciting and overwhelming. All sessions are completed remotely so you can feel comfortable in a safe environment of your choice. During our first session, I will ask what you why you chose therapy and what you hope to get out of it. From there, we will work together to create a plan that makes you feel both comfortable and hopeful.
I bring an understanding of public schools. My background in school social work brought light to the challenges teens and young adults face. In addition, I have struggled with chronic pain and with help, have made it through. I know it can be hard to find hope. It can be hard to get past the emotional and/or physical pain.
