I specialize in working with Women's issues and use a Women's empowerment framework. I also specialize in working with other psychotherapists who would prefer somatic interventions versus just "talk therapy." Areas of treatment include but are not limited to; anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, self esteem issues, identity conflict, Latinx concerns, first generation acculturation conflict, intergenerational trauma, and vicarious trauma (for psychotherapists). Somatic interventions are at the core of my practice, allowing me to help clients tap into the wisdom of their bodies to promote healing and personal growth. I incorporate techniques such as body awareness, mindfulness, breath work, reiki, brainspotting and movement, I am Level II trained Brainspotting practitioner. I have completed the 48 hour DV training.
