I enjoy working with adolescents and adults in individual therapy who struggle to understand and overcome mental health issues. I am passionate about helping people find healing to reach their full potential. Clients often come feeling shame and guilt. My goal is to educate clients so they can better understand themselves and collaboratively establish goals to work toward healing. I get to know my clients as a whole person by providing a safe space to feel heard. From there, I educate clients on what may be occurring that contributes to their distress. Often times I bring in my understanding of how the brain and body work related to mental health issues. Finally, I use clinical skills to walk with the person towards healing.
