There are many reasons that life can feel overwhelming or difficult to manage. Feelings of hopelessness, loss of control, fear, shame, sadness, or anger often lead to negative thoughts about self or the world around us. Sometimes we may find ourselves in situations because something happened to us that is outside our control. Things can be different! Together with my clients, I work to create a safe, trauma-informed, collaborative workspace for you to develop the skills needed to find hope and healing.
I love working with young adults and women. I specialize in working with folks who have experienced interpersonal violence or unhealthy relationships. I am experienced in treating trauma, PTSD related to interpersonal violence, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem/confidence issues.
I believe in meeting the client where they are at in their journey. I use various treatment modalities, including EMDR, CBT, and Solution Focused Therapy, but ultimately will use whatever modality is best suited for the individual.
