Hi! My name is Jenny Canales, and I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. I have been in the helping profession since 2017 and my clientele have ranged from the age of five to the age of 71. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, chronic mental illness, PTSD, and ADHD. I have also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma, sexual abuse, survivors of human trafficking, and emotional abuse.
My counseling style is warm and engaging, with a focus on the therapeutic relationship needed for our work together to be meaningful and effective. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, no matter what your background is or the details of your story. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral and client-centered counseling.
