Therapy is a deeply personal process and I consider it a privilege to be invited to be a part of your journey in healing and improving your life and relationships. I see therapy as a collaborative process in which I support you in identifying your goals for therapy and assist you in achieving those goals. I work with individuals, couples and young adults. I am physically located in Seattle, but also licensed in Utah and able to provide tele-health services to clients located outside Seattle.
I am a holistic therapist, attending to bio-psycho-social-spiritual-sexual contexts. Engaging in therapy takes courage and may be challenging at times. I work to make you feel safe and valued. I also believe in the healing effects of laughter and seek to use humor and principles of positive psychology in my practice.
I have experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, substance abuse, grief, couples therapy and sex and intimacy. My work experience includes working at Evergreen Recovery Centers and at the Lytle Center at Swedish hospital, where I met with couples. I also have additional training in sex and intimacy.
