Since graduating with my master's degree in 2016, I have been fortunate enough to counsel hundreds of strong, determined individuals in a variety of settings (the residential setting, outpatient medication-assisted treatment, the psychiatric inpatient, and in the regular outpatient setting). I thrive working with clients who have experienced trauma, relationship issues, and/or possess a variety of mental health diagnoses (i.e., Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, PTSD, PMDD, OCD, etc.). My ideal client shows up consistently, is honest, is motivated to change and/or heal, and is willing to try something new.
Using collaboration, psychoeducation, skill-building, processing, problem-solving, discussion and some between-session homework, I work with clients to develop and implement a plan to stabilize their life and meet their goals (whatever they may be). Therapy modalities I use include: EMDR, Polyvagal, DBT, Solution-Focused, CBT, & Structural-Family Therapy.
Clients can expect to gain greater awareness and understanding of the issues wreaking havoc in their life, and how to healthily manage them.
