I am a Youth Development Specialist (ages 13+) & relational trauma therapist who focuses on the treatment of trauma on adolescents, adults, & families. Traumas may include, but are not limited to, PTSD & stress symptoms, childhood or relational adverse experiences like physical, emotional, or sexual abuse; cultural & minority oppressive experiences, along with divorce & blending of families. Internal Family Systems & Narrative models of therapy ground my work in considering impacts of culture, client experience, & intersections of identities towards tailoring treatment to fit each client goal.
Amid one's experience in pain, heartache, mental health struggles, & adverse life circumstance lie a core Self where connection & groundedness reside. Treatment includes somatic stabilization, intrapsychic processing, energy/stress work, & interpersonal impacts & reconnection towards integrative recovery & renewed strengths from effects of trauma.
I approach therapy as collaborative and experiential encounters where I not only step into others' lives, but into their hearts & beings. In this way, a sense of Self & relational safety are created. Together, we can journey to healing & integration.
