I approach all people with unconditional positive regard fostering openness and trust offering not only a safe space but a brave space where people can be themselves, be vulnerable, and explore. I bring a person-centered and strengths-based approach to therapy with the understanding that you are the expert in your life, and I’m there to elicit your inherent capacities so that you can be who you are and want to create the life you want. Whether it is relationship issues, life transitions, identity or self-esteem issues, finding meaning and purpose, work/school/life stress, or finding balance, I will be a collaborator on your journey.
I specialize in anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, relationships, and spiritual/existential concerns. I utilize motivational interviewing, interpersonal psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, acceptance and commitment therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy tailoring my approach to you.
I have worked with BIPOC populations and am LGBTQIA+ affirming and I affirm gender diversity. I practice trauma-informed care sensitive to the myriad experiences a person may have had.
