I am a passionate clinician who sees each client as a person with individual needs, wants, and goals. My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and direct. I have experience working with mood, adjustment and anxiety disorders, as well as co-occurring disorder and individuals struggling with interpersonal issues. In the counseling process, I strive to help each client find their own voice to communicate their thoughts and feelings about what they are experiencing on a day to day basis. The aim is that the counseling experience becomes one of comfort in expressing and reconstructing ones personal narrative.
The therapeutic process will start with building trust, safety and confidence. The goal will be for each client to feel empowered to make healthy and adaptive choices by getting to the core of the issues and peeling back the layers on the road to recovery. The focus of treatment will be to integrate mindfulness and behavioral therapy techniques.
I view clients who engage in therapy as brave and courageous. I welcome anyone to reach out who is motivated to start working on creating a better version of themselves! I am an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) with a clinical license in NJ, PA, and WA. I offer supervision to associate therapists needing hours for full licensure.
