Hello, my name is Jennifer Williamson, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have been in the substance use and mental health field for 10 years. I have worked in residential treatment, outpatient and community mental health settings. I have always had a passion for getting to know other peoples' stories and enjoy traveling alongside them to reach their goals. I have worked with clients of all ages, but most enjoy working with older teens and adults.
I have experience in and am comfortable working with clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, substance use, relationship difficulties, parenting problems, adjustment, or who may just need emotional support and somebody to listen to them.
I would say my communication style is fun, light-hearted, and calm but I also come from a place of understand, compassion, and empathy. I tailor the mood and communication type to best assist the client and what they may be going through in the moment.
