SIBS Group
S.I.B.S is a therapy group that provides a fun and safe environment for siblings of children with special needs. The siblings will have an opportunity to meet other children who understand the unique experience of having a brother or sister with special needs. The group will utilize art therapy during the 8 week session. Art Therapy will give the children an opportunity to gain understanding and develop skills to cope with life's difficulties. Social Skills
The Social Skills groups are designed for children and adolescents that have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, or Behavior Disorder. The group will utilize art and play therapy during the 8 week session. Art and play therapy will give the children an opportunity to gain understanding and develop skills to cope with life's difficulties. During the group the children will utilize art as a way of communicating feelings. The children will participate in group art therapy activities as a way for team building and practicing new skills. Interactive Parenting Workshop
The interactive parenting workshop will focus on parents/caregivers raising children who have Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, or related Behavior Disorders. The Workshop will be held once a month. Interactive parenting workshop is an ongoing group, in which every workshop will be different. Parents/caregivers can attend one or multiple workshops. During the workshop parents/caregivers will have an opportunity to share ideas, provide support, and share experiences. The workshop will also allow parents to learn ways to gain a positive more effective parenting style through Jen's guidance and coaching. see website for more details.
