I believe we all have the capacity to feel more regulate and secure with our lives. I work with adults and teens hoping to improve upon their current coping strategies to heal. Many of my clients have struggled with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma and grief. Some clients find themselves navigating life transitions and are struggling to not lose themselves in the process. Together we create a therapy plan that will work with your goals. Much of my therapy involves exploring past and present attachments, strengthening your internal and external resources and teaching skills that you can use daily to feel better.
In my private practice, I use a relational psychoanalytic approach to therapy. I incorporate CBT and other modalities to meet clients where they are at in their healing process. I am excited to be using Brainspotting in my practice, and, I have experience treating Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors such as hair-pulling, nail-biting and skin-picking.
We all need a fresh outlook and a space where we can process and heal. I can relate to the challenges of keeping a balanced life when we feel pulled in so many directions.
