I am a bilingual licensed mental health therapist. I obtained my master’s degree from University of Phoenix. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Child Development from California State University of Los Angeles. Prior to becoming a therapist, I was a special education teacher. Having students with mental and behavioral issues, made me realize that I wanted to help others outside the classroom. Thus, I began my counseling education/career.
I began working as a therapist in a wraparound program focusing on providing mental health services, and resources to children and their families due to general neglect, abuse, domestic violence, and trauma.
I now work with adolescents and adults and enjoy helping those with anxiety, stress, self-esteem, adjusting to new phases in life, and processing trauma. I am a cognitive behavioral therapist, and also have experience in motivational interviewing, and psychodynamic therapy.
