Jennifer believes the foundation for effective therapy is a strong therapeutic relationship. Because of this, she enjoys taking the time to really get to know you as a person to begin to build a foundation together. She works together with you to learn your needs and goals in order to select the most appropriate interventions for your unique needs. She strives to create an environment that is safe, supportive, and sensitive to differences in culture and sexual/gender identity.
She practices an eclectic therapy style that is humanistic, trauma-informed, person-centered and utilizes interventions from modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, EMDR, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness based CBT. Her main areas of focus include, mood and anxiety disorders and trauma.
In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys reading, playing with her dog and cat, and spending time in nature.
