My name is Jennifer Van Loy, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California working virtually with adults, children & teens who are experiencing sadness, anxiety, burnout, or the effects of past trauma. I specialize in working with individuals of all ages who are neurodivergent: ADHD, Autistic, PDA, Sensory Sensitive, Learning Differences, Gender Diverse. I help individuals better understand their nervous system and how it connects with emotions and behavior. I help parents better understand their kids and shift their parenting in ways that actually work. I provide assessments of ADHD & Autism for adults.
I have an approach that is informed by an understanding of individual differences, the importance of relationships, the impact of the environment and cultural expectations. I will support you in clarifying what is most important to you and getting past the obstacles that make it hard to live the life you want for yourself.
