I have been working with children since 1994. I worked for Mecklenburg County Early Intervention Services from 1994-2008, providing service coordination as well as specializing in educational services, helping to enhance the development in children from ages 0-3. I became a stay-at-home Mom until receiving my master’s in social work and becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate. I worked for an agency providing Behavioral Mental Heath Services for children between the ages of 4-17.
SPT provides a variety of therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness activities, self-regulation strategies as well as interventions based on play therapy to name a few. SPT combines a variety of age-appropriate interventions and activities based on your child’s interest and motivations.

SPT assesses the child’s need for Behavioral Health Services and works with the child and primary caregiver to create a treatment plan that best meets the needs of the child and family.
