Through guided discussion, readings, exercises, reflection, and between-session practice, members will develop healthier coping strategies, deepen self-awareness, and explore how trauma can shape emotions, behaviors, relationships, and patterns of self-sabotage. The group offers a supportive, structured environment for building greater awareness and learning skills that can strengthen functioning in daily life and relationships. While substance misuse is a focus, the group welcomes those working to understand and change self-defeating patterns more broadly.
