Taking the first step towards making a change is the most difficult step, although the most important. Every person who walks into my office is unique and, I believe, that it is best to personally tailor my therapeutic approach based on the individual's needs, personality, goals and lifestyle. I am empathic, understanding and engaging. I take the time to truly listen to what it is the person is going through and base my assessments on a mutually drawn conclusion made between therapist and client.
I have over 14 years experience with trauma, PTSD, abuse survivors, women's issues, LGBTQ, low self-esteem, self-harm, Domestic Violence, anxiety, depression and stress management. My areas of expertise are associated with adolescents and adult populations. I am trained in DBT Therapy and Prolonged Exposure Therapy as well as other multimodal approaches.
