I'm an authentic and creative therapist who cares deeply about connecting with clients, building rapport, and holding the therapeutic space. I'm a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, wife, mother, and nature lover. I collaborate with clients to understand their presenting concerns & symptoms, and clarify their goals for treatment. I use metaphors & visuals to teach helpful concepts, and I inquire about strengths and support systems. I enjoy working with kids 11 +, college students, adults, couples, and creatives (artists, writers, and poets).

I use an integrative approach based on needs and preferences: Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to explore thoughts; dreamwork; active imagination; Sandplay; art & play therapy; and somatic interventions. I'm also Internal Family Systems and trauma-informed. I'm curious by nature, and regularly seek training to maintain my skill set.

I'm a Registered Sandplay Practitioner. During sandplay (a therapy for all ages), clients connect with the sand, then select miniatures to represent their inner world. I'm in Terry Real's "Relational Life Therapy" training, a modality primarily practiced with couples (and highly effective in individual therapy)
