I have a foundation in humanistic and cognitive behavioral therapies, I am trained in motivational interviewing, and have a specialty in dialectical behavior therapy. I treat mood and anxiety disorders, the impact of trauma, and co-occurring addictive problems. I also help with problems in self-perception, identity, and esteem. Specialty populations include essential workers, professionals maintaining wellness, balance, and recovery, perfectionism, and persons facing difficulties resulting from the impact of chronic bullying, feelings of emptiness, and/or feelings of purposelessness.
My work with you will be mindful, heart-centered, and conscious. It will be compassionate, nurturing, and holistic. Issues of grief, loss, and loneliness may be addressed. I offer trauma-informed care that guides you to embrace your resiliency and strengths, while providing you safety to explore your needs. I support you in listening to your heart within.
I come equipped to listen, validate, & help you live true to your hearts values. I sometimes teach useful skills when you are ready to make changes. I am an LGBTQ+ affirming practitioner. In my personal time, I enjoy listening to mindful parenting podcasts, playing with my children and dog, yoga, hiking, and reading about the realm of human consciousness.
