My approach as a counselor is to be encouraging, supportive and collaborate; and help individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety, marital issues and job stress. I help people to create positive and lasting change in their lives and aid them in achieving their personal goals. Assessments can be conducted in as little as one office visit.
As a EMDR clinician, Jennifer specializes in working with post-traumatic stress, grief, loss and other traumas that interfere with living a safe, calm, happy life. She has worked extensively with law enforcement, military and other first responders in dealing with stressful events that affect their careers and personal lives.
As a Registered Dual Disorder Professional, Jennifer is trained to work with individuals who are dealing with addiction and mental health issues. When dealing with co-occurring problems in your life, such as drinking and depression/anxiety, it can be beneficial to develop a treatment plan that encompasses all the surface and underlying issues.
