Taking the first step is always the hardest. I'm here to help and so excited to work with you! I have experience working with adults and adolescents with depression, anxiety and those who are navigating through the grieving process. I also have experience working in a hospital setting with individuals who have chronic and ongoing health issues. I practice couples therapy as well utilizing the Gottman Method; which focuses on improving communication.
I also use CBT, cognitive behavioral therapy, to assist clients in gaining insight on how our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. I am motivated to create an open dialogue in which we can explore these connections.
My goal as a therapist is to create an environment in which my patients feel safe and secure. A nonjudgmental atmosphere is my top priority.
