It’s common to feel overwhelmed and lost during life transitions, whether those transitions involve beginning or ending a relationship, becoming a parent, starting a new job, losing someone you love, or even adapting to growing older. Sometimes you can get through difficulties by relying on loved ones in your life, and sometimes it can be invaluable to have a compassionate professional to help you navigate those challenges. My goal is to partner with clients to figure out the path they want to take, and then figure out what skills we can work on to help them get there.
As a licensed clinical psychologist who has been practicing in the field for close to 15 years, I am dedicated to helping people shift their perspective and find greater meaning and purpose in their lives, while improving on skills to do so. I have worked in a variety of clinical settings, with a variety of clients, including veterans, elders, and refugees.
I am passionate about working with anyone in pain who is ready to actively work on reducing their suffering. My practice centers around the idea of balance, and my personal style is a balance between evidence-based treatments and “doing what works," integrating warmth and a little humor. If this sounds like a good fit, I look forward to working with you!
