I know how difficult it can be to reach out when you are drowning, much less summon the energy to find someone who will be a good fit. I am so glad you are here. My approach is primarily person-centered which means that I believe clients are the experts of their own lives. I see myself as a curious consultant who walks beside clients on their mental wellness journey, rather than assuming they need to be "fixed". I work with ADHD, depression, anxiety, life transitions, pet grief, attachment and childhood trauma-related concerns, identity exploration, self-compassion, imposter syndrome, emotion regulation, and stress management.
I use aspects of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), inner child work, mindfulness and meditation, and a number of other therapeutic methods in order to find the best fit for a client's unique situation and personality. I also enjoy incorporating expressive arts-based techniques, mindfulness, and music in sessions.
I strive to be an ally to my fellow humans who find themselves being marginalized and oppressed in our society.
