About
When life just gets too hard, my job is to help empower people to get where they want and need to be. Whether a person is struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, life transitions, family of origin issues, current relationships, or problems at work, I put my all into working alongside clients to draw out internal strengths and build a new, wonderful life. I am here to listen and to work alongside them so that they leave therapy much stronger and more hopeful than when they first came in. Together, we draw out strengths, transform old patterns, and build toward a new life: Life can get better!
I specialize in trauma recovery and stopping compulsive behaviors that stem from trauma like addiction, negative-self thinking, and eating disorders. Because I am also a licensed attorney, I work as a compassionate detective to find patterns in thought and action that prevent people from being successful in life, work, and relationships: You can change!
As a cultural anthropologist, I specialize in culturally competent care. I offer a space of healing and empowerment for clients who have trauma. I am highly trained to tune into cultural patterns that affect my clients' everyday lives. I also empower clients wounded by toxic work places including wrongful termination, harassment, and discrimination.
