I have been a clinical therapist for over 25 years working primarily with children, adolescents, families, and young adults. I have worked with some of the more difficult needs that children and adolescents have with a specialty in attachment, trauma and adoption. Additionally, I have experience in social/peer issues, school problems and anxiety.
As a trauma, attachment and adoption specialist I have received years of specialized training. I can offer parent support and education as well as individual and family therapy to address improving relationships and reducing negative or at-risk behaviors. My interventions are based on my clients needs. They include play, art, sandtray, CBT and more.
In addition to my work in trauma, I have many years of experience working in the community, schools and mental health with children, adolescents and adults. I am LGBTQ+ friendly and will provide a safe environment to everyone that comes in my office.
