I have experience working with adolescents through the older adult populations on many symptoms/diagnoses. Primarily those I work with have had issues relating to depression, anxiety, and trauma. Everyone has it inside of themselves to manage symptoms relating to these issues in addition to medication (when needed). What I have found helpful is talking to someone with empathy, who is nonjudgmental, and willing to listen, as well as having/providing information that will help the individual through these difficult times.
I can help you by listening and assisting you with developing coping skills to manage stressors. Through talk therapy I can help you process stressors, concerns, trauma, etc., to move forward. By learning cognitive behavioral techniques, you may be able to change your thinking about a situation, which in turn can change your feelings and behaviors.
