I specialize in Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD), Hypochondriasis, Skin-picking, Hairpulling, Social Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Phobias, Generalize Anxiety Disorder, and Depression.
I also specialize in treating ADHD/Executive Functioning issues that make it difficult for young adults to get through college. I received training through Harvard University/Massachusetts General Hospital (MGB) and split my time between MGB and private practice. I use the most empirically-validated treatments to help my patients achieve real results by reducing active symptoms and improving their quality of life.
I specialize in the use of empirically-supported treatments (ESTs) including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Mindfulness to treat: Depression, OCD-spectrum Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, ADHD, and Relationship difficulties.
While I mainly work from a skill-based approach, I also think it is very important to understand and address underlying stressors that drive mood and anxiety symptoms (work stress, relationship difficulties, traumatic experiences, negative childhood experiences, etc) in my work with patients.
