Hello, and thanks for visiting my profile! I'm a licensed clinical psychologist, and I use evidence-based treatments like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance/mindfulness-based behavioral therapy, which research demonstrates to be effective treatments for a wide range of client issues. I specialize in treating anxiety disorders (including OCD and panic disorder), depression, adjustment problems, difficulty with life transitions, marital issues, career/academic stress, and relationship problems. I also really enjoy assisting with parenting issues, women's issues, and postpartum adjustment. I have a background in child clinical psychology so feel well equipped to help with parenting.
I am accepting, interactive, and collaborate with my clients. I offer practical coping skills and welcome a wide variety of client backgrounds (e.g., ethnic, racial, sexual orientation, gender identity, religious). I utilize humor and warmth, and I strive to help my clients live more meaningful and enjoyable lives.
