My mission as a therapist is to assist clients in accessing their inner wisdom to form a meaningful response to life's challenges. I believe that relationship is a channel through which healing can occur and the therapeutic relationship can act as a catalyst for this healing. I work with individuals and couples who struggle with a variety of issues, including trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship impasse and eating disorders. I am a certified Death Doula and I am currently completing the year-long course in Compassionate Inquiry which uses the method/approach of Gabor Maté. I offer Teletherapy services to adults in the states of Oregon and California. Specifically trained in Trauma and Eating Disorders, I also work with people struggling with depression, anxiety and existential concerns. I utilize a variety of methods including Spiritual Psychology, CBT, Yoga Therapy, Mindfulness, and the skills of Compassionate Inquiry.
I have two Labrador Retrievers, Eli and Jack. One of them will often accompany me in my practice. Both are educated as a therapy dogs and are lovers of all. Eli provides a constant and calming presence while Jack is always 'in the moment', a gentle reminder of being in the 'here and now'. I offer 'walk and talk' therapy in the Florence, Oregon, area.
