I enjoy working with people who are motivated to make their lives better and dare to dream! My ideal client is someone who is "perfectly imperfect" and who wants to be happy and have a better quality of life but isn't quite sure how. They may be in chronic pain or have had traumatic events that still affect them. They might be grieving a loss or multiple losses. They might be in a life transition or have forgotten what it is that makes them special. Regardless of the reason you are seeking therapy, my hope for you is peace and happiness.
I employ various treatment methods in order to meet your needs and help you meet your goals. I combine talk therapy with other modalities like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Brainspotting (BSP), and hyonosis. These modalities are wonderful for reducing trauma symptoms and healing.
I love working with people of all ages: age 2 (yes, they sometimes need help, too!) to 80+. My younger clients enjoy therapy and respond well to a modified version of EMDR & BSP. BSP can be used with people who would like to heal a trauma without sharing the details. This is ideal for law enforcement or military.
