As a depth counselor, I assist clients who need deep healing from trauma, anxiety, depression, and other wounds to find wholeness in Self and relationships again. It takes a lot of courage to shine a light into the darkest places within, and to uncover and work with the roots of our pain. I truly believe even the most difficult symptoms hold gifts for us, and its my life's work to provide the space for my clients to face the scariest parts of being human, find those gifts, and turn the uncovered material into the stuff they need to move from surviving to actually thriving.
It's normal for people to develop defense mechanisms to protect themselves. I purposefully work with my clients in ways that get around their defenses to mine their deeper inner life. My practice focuses on dream tending, mindfulness, active imagination, and other forms of symbolic expression that are based on Jungian psychology.
Through individual counseling and dream work, I assist those who are ready to confront their pain and shame to trust their inner guidance and bravely explore the dark. We walk together through this process and celebrate the gifts that lie on the other side of this deep healing. There is nothing from which you cannot heal.
