About
When individuals are met with challenges in their lives it can be difficult to ask for help. My goal as a counselor is to provide the best treatment possible to the individuals who trust me with their care. My treatment approach is tailored to the needs of each individual I work with. I am relationship focused, and have a strong emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My overall goal of the counseling process is to equip others with the tools necessary to transform into healthy, functioning individuals through support and empowerment.
I work with adolescents and adults experiencing a variety of mental health needs including depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, among others. My prior experience includes working with at-risk children for neglect and abuse, outpatient services for adults with severe and persistent mental illness, as well a university counseling center.
