In therapy, we slow things down enough to understand what’s happening beneath the surface. What you are feeling deserves empathy and I am also interested in the why. We ultimately want to see change in your life though. I work with adults, teens and I love working with couples. I don't want therapy to waste your time, I want you to feel seen, validated, and feel real change.
Sessions with me are calm, open, educational and validating. You don’t have to carry all of this alone. My goal is to walk you through whatever you are facing with compassion and also insight. With teens, we do lots of activities. I utilize Emotion-Focused, Attachment-Based, Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness, CBT (as needed) to name a few.
