About
Sometimes life feels overwhelming, hope is difficult to find, and it's unclear what path to take. As a therapist, I believe allowing space to express our thoughts and feelings, understand them, and learn new skills can promote healing and relief. I use a flexible, compassionate, and collaborative approach; I truly enjoy working with people and hearing and honoring their stories. I will strive to work within your goals and highlight the strengths and resilience you already have! There is hope for growth and positive change in your life!
My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which involves exploring the situations, thoughts, emotions, and behaviors causing distress and using healthy strategies to regulate the emotions and respond effectively. I also incorporate a trauma-informed, strength based approach, and mindfulness.
If you are interested in learning more about what to expect with therapy or want to see if we would be a good fit, please call or email me to set up a free 15 minute consultation call! I look forward to meeting you!
