I am passionate on helping clients who are trying to understand how they are feeling and what is causing them to feel this way. I recognize the courage it takes to make a counseling appointment and consider it an honor to walk through stages of life with clients. I am passionate about therapy feeling like your safe place. Therapy should be a place where you feel like you can be yourself, grow and heal. I take pride in providing a place for clients to process their experiences and believe that clients are best able to meet their goals of therapy when they are in a supportive, safe environment.
I work with teenagers, individual adults and couples dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, family and marital challenges, adjustment and grief.
My approach to therapy is to combine person-centered therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy to help a client develop insight into their strengths and to reframe and challenge thoughts and behaviors to reach their full desired self and potential.
