Once you decide to seek out therapy, the next step is to find a therapist that feels like the best fit for you. As a clinical psychologist, my goal is to support each client on their journey toward personal growth and meaningful change. I help clients navigate their emotions, identify and shift unhelpful thought and behavior patterns, and develop healthier ways of coping. Through this process, clients are empowered to create and sustain the lives they envision for themselves.
I specialize in evidence-based treatments for children, adolescents and adults. I describe myself as a cognitive behavioral therapist with an integrative approach. My areas of interest and expertise include, but are not limited to, mood and anxiety disorders and borderline. I am also intensively trained in dialectical behavioral therapy.
While change, healing, and growth can be challenging, they can also bring moments of humor and lightness. I tailor therapy to each client’s unique strengths and needs, and my style is direct, warm, and compassionate. Building a collaborative and trusting relationship is at the heart of the work we do together. -Jennifer M.
