I believe in therapy that is compassionate, emotionally focused, and collaborative. My passion as a mental health practitioner is teaching people how to listen to, learn about, and heal themselves. I am a guide through the learning and healing process. My hope is you will come away feeling emotionally healthy and actively engaged in a joyful and fulfilling life.
I utilize Internal Family Systems (IFS) which is an evidence-based model of psychotherapy that provides a non-pathological therapeutic environment utilizing your unique insight and knowledge. This model offers you the opportunity to access self and to lead from that place. All parts of you are welcome in the work.
I will provide a calm, caring, and non-judgmental place for you to share your thoughts and feelings. A place to do hard stuff at the pace that feels safe to you. We will go slowly and gently every step of the way. Sometimes, you will just want to dump it all out and leave feeling lighter. Either way, it's your journey and you know you best.
