My intention is to lead you through healing journeys with knowledge, compassion and expertise. With a person-centered approach I can tailor a wide variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities to meet the client’s needs. With cathartic, creative expression we can let go of some of the mental clutter that keeps us from feeling our optimal selves. We will peel away layers to uncover inner strength with self-compassion. I promote deep inner listening through mindfulness techniques and offer opportunities to balance and integrate all parts of oneself to a place of wholeness.

I received a Master's Degree in Art Therapy Counseling in 2002 and have worked in a wide variety of settings with children, adolescents and adults. In addition, I am trained as a certified yoga teacher (RYT-200) and have taught yoga and mindfulness since 2005.

I often recommend yoga sequences and/or meditations to further bring the nervous system into a state of balance, tone the vagus nerve and provide psycho-education on these topics. Clients may explore symbolism in dreams, art and thoughts as we bring into awareness these subconscious beliefs that could be creating unproductive patterns.
