At Generations Counseling, it’s about you — your story, your healing, and space to just be yourself. I’ll meet you where you are and go at whatever pace is comfortable for you (but that doesn’t mean I won’t gently nudge you along). I believe that effective therapy starts with finding the right fit - for both of us.
Here’s what to expect in our first session:
In "The Download Session", you’ll be given the space to share with me what brings you to therapy (or back to therapy), what life looks like at home, tell me about your day to day and your important relationships, and we’ll take time to identify your goals together.
I believe therapy works best when it’s grounded in trust and emotional safety. I listen with empathy and curiosity, helping you explore what’s beneath the surface while offering tools, perspective, and a bit of humor (and maybe a movie quote or two) to support your growth beyond our sessions.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience in substance abuse, community mental health, and private practice. Counseling is my second career, and I truly love what I do. I’m a Philly transplant now in Pittsburgh, a wife, mom of two, and dog mom to Murphy—lover of hiking, boxing, Penn State, and Marvel movies.
