Hi! Whether this is your first attempt or your last effort to find help, I am happy you’re here. Having worked in the school setting the last 10 years, I know that times are really tough for our kids. As parents, we may not know how to handle the things our kids go through, or even understand. I want to help by providing a safe and nurturing environment for children and youth to process their emotions and teach them healthy coping skills to get them through life’s difficult times.
Working as a Crisis Intervention Counselor for an urban school district, I have extensive experience working with trauma, anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidality, self esteem and other issues. I am trained in Play Therapy and have been coined the Tween/ Teen Whisperer. These are challenging ages, so if your child or teen is struggling, I am your girl!
Having two children of my own, I know how hard it is to see your kid struggle and not know where to turn. It is my goal to meet my clients where they are and be a guide in their journey to be a more authentic version of themselves, so they can live life to the fullest!
