“Will it always have to be this way? I don’t know how much more I can take.”
I hear this often from clients in the beginning - when hope feels far away and everything feels heavy. One of the greatest honors of my work is holding hope with you until you can hold it for yourself again.
I’m a Graduate Clinical Counseling Intern and Master’s-level Pastoral Counselor. I earned my Master’s in Pastoral Counseling (Crisis & Trauma) from Liberty University in 2017. I am in the final term of internship for my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (April 2026) from Walden University.
My ideal client is someone who has lived through trauma, crisis, or chronic stress, often connected to family-of-origin wounds, relationship struggles, anxiety, abandonment, and emotional, verbal, or spiritual abuse. Many of the people I work with feel like they don’t quite fit, or that no one truly understands what they’ve been carrying.
In our work together, you can expect a warm, compassionate, nonjudgmental space where trust and emotional safety come first. As both a complex trauma and cancer survivor, I bring deep empathy and a steady presence to the therapy room. I’ll meet you where you are, and we’ll move at a pace that feels sustainable and safe.
